This series of portrait paintings celebrates and documents Arab cultural workers, with a focus on the Palestinian and Syrian diaspora based in Jordan. Through these portraits, Atallah aims to capture the vivid nuances and multifaceted dimensions of contemporary Arab life, transcending the often simplistic narratives of war and tragedy that dominate mainstream discourse.
